180FW Airmen Competes on Shark Tank
Tech. Sgt. Tom Burden, an F-16 weapons mechanic assigned to the 180th Fighter Wing, answers questions from friends, relatives, journalists and investors Nov. 12, 2017 at Rev1 Ventures in Columbus, Ohio after Shark Tank aired the episode in which he competed for funding for his invention, the Grypmat. Burden invented a flexible, non-slip tool tray for aircraft mechanics and was recently a contestant on Shark Tank, a business-themed show where entrepreneurs compete for funding from celebrity investors.
