Last year 01:51.900 --> 01:54.067 was my first time doing an ROT mission 01:54.067 --> 01:55.678 in Kentucky , and after that 01:55.678 --> 01:57.844 opportunity I said hey I gotta do this 01:57.844 --> 01:59.844 again , you know , so being able to 01:59.844 --> 02:02.011 come in here and and have an impact on 02:02.011 --> 02:04.122 people , um , like I said , I look at 02:04.122 --> 02:03.339 it as like we're taking care of the 02:03.339 --> 02:05.672 people that's taking care of the people , 02:05.672 --> 02:07.839 so I would encourage anyone to give RT 02:07.839 --> 02:11.529 a shot . This community is um 02:11.529 --> 02:14.848 underserved as far as services for uh 02:14.848 --> 02:16.904 people that have no insurance . Some 02:16.904 --> 02:19.070 people came in that had not had dental 02:19.070 --> 02:22.589 services in years and years . It is important for us to have 03:22.389 --> 03:24.611 translators during this mission because 03:24.611 --> 03:26.333 it allows us to have effective 03:26.333 --> 03:28.333 communication for necessary patient 03:28.333 --> 03:30.779 care . We had a patient who came up and 03:30.779 --> 03:32.835 she was intimidated to come into the 03:32.835 --> 03:34.779 clinic because she felt she wasn't 03:34.779 --> 03:36.835 gonna get the proper care due to the 03:36.835 --> 03:38.890 language barrier and knowing that we 03:38.890 --> 03:40.890 had Spanish speaking people here it 03:40.890 --> 03:42.946 made her more comfortable to get the 03:42.946 --> 03:45.559 help she needed . We have appreciated 03:45.559 --> 03:48.139 the community and all of the military 03:48.139 --> 03:50.679 how they've come together as a team and 03:50.679 --> 03:52.679 we have felt that we needed to help 03:52.679 --> 03:54.901 them and in turn they help us so it has 03:54.901 --> 03:57.068 just been an awesome experience for me 03:57.068 --> 03:59.068 to be in charge of such a wonderful 03:59.068 --> 04:01.123 wonderful group now that we've .
