Northwest Ohio Military Friends Golf Scramble Published Aug. 16, 2011 By TSgt George Wolfe 180th Fighter Wing 16 August 2011 -- NW Ohio Military Friends is holding its first annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, September 17 at Valleywood Golf Club. NW Ohio Military Friends is a not for profit 501(c)3 that supports the military in Ohio. Their main project is Operation Pillowcase which was started in the 180FW Family Readiness Program. When the program grew to support the Ohio Army National Guard and now all Military in Ohio, a team of 180FW family members created this non-profit organization to manage and fund this outstanding program for military families all over Ohio. Proceeds from this Golf Scramble will benefit the Operation Pillowcase Program. The Scramble includes 18 holes of golf, golf carts, raffles, 50/50 drawing and lunch.
