Financial Peace University course offered for 180th members
Financial Peace University is an intensive personal finance course that helps service members strategically and effectively remove debt and build wealth. In a small-group format, this 13-lesson DVD course, taught by personal finance expert Dave Ramsey, covers everything from budgeting and paying off debt to retirement and charitable giving. FPU equips military personnel with the security and protection of a sound financial plan during times of activation, deployment, TDY or PCS.

The FPU course is being offered again beginning Monday, August 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. and will be held every Monday thereafter except for Labor Day. The final class will be held on Monday, November 23, just before Thanksgiving. This course normally costs an individual or family $99, but through 180th Family Readiness, the cost is $30 and the personal commitment is to attend as many if not all of the 13 weekly sessions. If interested in taking this course, please email judy.york@ohtole.ang.af.mil. If you want more information on this course, check out www.daveramsey.com or contact Tech. Sgt. Joseph Carter at joseph. carter@ohtole.ang.af.mil. Class size is limited to 22 families or single service members.
