Unit Members Recognized at Memorial Tournament Military Appreciation Day

Tech. Sgt. Christine Martin, Finance, and Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Roberts from Security Forces Squadron, were with golf legend Jack Nicklaus at the 2008 Memorial Golf Tournament's "Military Appreciation Day" held Tuesday, May 27 at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Martin and Roberts were part of a group of 30 Ohio Airman and Soldiers that were recognized by the Ohio National Guard for recently deploying in support of the Global War on Terror. 

The Military Appreciation Day, that was open for all active duty and retired military personnel, is focused on strengthening the ties between the Armed Forces and the community. Martin and Roberts took part in an exclusive lunch for all of the military honorees and their families. They also participated in a special military Golf Clinic and spent time with Nicklaus and other tournament players. Congratulations to Martin and Roberts for their contributions to our Federal Mission and for participating in this special event.
