Patriot Day

Staff Sergeant Albert Andujar and Senior Airman Robert Reagan, Security Forces Personnel from the 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, lower the flag to half staff on 11 September 2006, in honor and sympathy of those who passed away in the 11 September attacks in 2001. On 18 December 2001, President George W. Bush designated September 11th of each year as "Patriot Day" and has asked that all Americans honor the victims of these attacks by displaying the flag at half-staff.
