180th FW trains with 159th FW in New Orleans

180th Fighter Wing F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot Capt. Jerad Ames climbs into the cockpit before a training flight at Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, New Orleans, La. Jan. 16, 2014. The 180th Fighter Wing is currently participating in a training exercise with F-15 Screaming Eagles from the 159th FW, New Orleans Air National Guard. The purpose of this training is to aid pilots in maintaining familiarity with capabilities of different fighter aircraft.
