U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Russel J. Carpenter, services sustainment superintendent assigned to the 105th Airlift Wing, explains his personal experience with search and recovery missions while deployed to Afghanistan during a search and recover exercise at the 180th Fighter Wing in Swanton, Ohio.
