Col. William Giezie
Col. William K. Giezie is the Vice Commander of the 180th Fighter Wing, Ohio Air National Guard, located at the Toledo Express Airport, Swanton, Ohio. The 180th Mission Support Group is comprised of the Civil Engineering Squadron, Communications Flight, Force Support Squadron, Logistics Readiness Squadron and the Security Forces Squadron. As commander for an Expeditionary Combat Support tasked wing, he helps ensure the wing is ready to deploy mission ready warriors and equipment anywhere in the world. In addition, the 180th Fighter Wing provides air defense for the Great Lakes Region in support of North American Aerospace Defense Command and the U.S. Northern Command taskings.
